The Rocker headed for Blu-ray this January

Although there had been rumors that the Rainn Wilson comedy would be on store shelves this year, Fox has finally confirmed that it will, in fact, be release January 27, 2009.

The disc will include several hours of bonus features, including 10 deleted scenes, a host of featurettes ("Rainn Wilson: Office Rocker," "Behind The Band: Vesuvius," "Rock Beat With Fish Fishmanm," "The Music of The Rocker," "Pete Best Interview," "Rock Tales"), exclusive podcasts, a music video, MTV excerpts, two audio commentaries by the cast and crew, a gag reel, and mock PSAs.

Included with the disc will be a digital copy, compatible with your PSP, PC, and iTunes.

Initial pricing is set at $39.98
