Will Blu-ray peak or die in 5 years?

With the explosive growth in sales of high definition televisions, the future is looking very bright for the Blu-ray format, although Stefan Bauster, CEO of Singulus, doesn't expect the shipments to peak for another 5 years.
At the same, however, Andy Griffiths, the electronics director for Samsung in the UK, was quoted as saying that he believes Blu-ray will likely have faded out by that time, saying "I think [Blu-ray] has 5 years left, I certainly wouldn't give it 10"
